 FindFace service will allow seeking a person in the network just by his/her photo. It is reported in press release of application received by Lenta.ru. FindFace allows searching a person by photo, finding out open information and communicating with him/her through the account in social networks.

Bad lighting or bad angle of photo does not make any obstacle for algorithm. The service defines a person on the photo precisely about 70% and thus if a certain face has not be found FindFace offers to look at the photo of similar faces.  The basis for the service is the Face Recognition Technology created by N-Tech.Lab, specializing in solutions related to the field of neuron networks. These networks are able to analyze information. The algorithm requires at least one second to find a necessary file in the database of 300 million photos.

N-Tech.Lab solution was accepted as the best one at the international competition, the MegaFace Benchmark, arranged by Washington University. Actually it is possible to use FindFace from the browser, application for popular iOS and Android mobile platforms  that will be available in being future. At the first stage of development a new service will operate in social network  “VKontakte”. In the beginning of February 2016 N-Tech.Lab has entered the list of 50 most prospective startups according to the version of annual Russian Startup rating.

Among other leaders of rating there are: Telegram messenger created by the founder of “VKonakte” Pavel Durov, Dauria Aerospace private aerospace company attracted 10 million USD from Cybernaut Chinese investing fund last year and Skolkovo  resident 3D Bioprinting Solutions — first company in the world that created 3D printing technology for living being organs.
